The Maldives Mountaineering Club.
The MMC is an international club of good will. A CLUB THAT IS DESIGNED FOR THE BETTERMENT OF PEOPLE. It’s a club that doesn’t take itself too seriously, (given our name) but it does do serious work. Together, with its growing number of members from all around the world, we can move Mountains for people that desperately need our help.
With a commitment to charitable work, we aim to provide unforgettable experiences to those in need around the globe. Our unique selling point is our dedication to helping others, making every mountain we metaphorically climb, a meaningful contribution to someone who's struggling.
The Club.
The MMC was founded in New Zealand with a very simple vision.
It’s an exclusive member only club, a privilege to belong too, that speaks volumes about one’s character for belonging to such a club. It’s for like-minded people that care about people, who see a lot of what’s wrong in our world, but can’t or don’t have the time to make the changes they’d like to see made. Or simply don’t know where to start. We’ve all been there.
Well, that’s where The MMC comes into play, one Mountain (change) at a time with a commitment to giving back and finding solutions for those in desperate need. As a charitable club, we strive to make an impact through our projects we take on. Our top five priority projects are outlined on "Our Impact" page.
